A little help with this - Aussie V8 | Holden - Ford

Hi all,
I carried this grille around with me for years, it was originally in my rt charger untill the charger met it's demise, and the only things worth salvaging were the grille and crash pad. It's not the original grille for the RT as the headlights are round hence pointing to an american version, but I can't find out which variation it came from.

Any help identifying it would be greatfully recieved, ie year, manufacturer etc.

Looks to be out of a 1960's Newport or NewYorker.
