No one can deny they dont love seeing a good sleeper roll up to ta cruise night. Old man in appearance, absolute monster in performance. I love them! Post up pics or stories of sleepers you know of.

Was in Boxhill about 5 years ago,i had a VS interceptor and seen this flogged out old VN.Got to a set of lights in Whitehorse road and give him a run,well fark me,this thing picked up and went spinning past me.lol.it must have been turbo ed or blown,it friggin screamed.
Was good for a laugh but ![]() ![]() |

I'd love to build another sleeper. I have planned it in my head 100's of times. It would be a HJ Kingswood, bought from a grandpa. I would slot in a big block, nicely worked over, and have a decent NOS shot on it. Maybe paint the engine in plain old chevy orange and no bling bling gear.

Here's a pic of my HK with Brougham caps on it... LOOKS like a sleeper, unfortunately doesn't SOUND like a sleeper.. haha

Yeah plenty of rippers out there...
Lots of late model stuff probably qualifies (turbo LS1 stuff) but cant beat grumpy big cube stockers! Love em. brownhj

not realy a sleeper but would be a heap of fun to drive and a ton of work to build

Heres my little old sleeper in action. KE20 corolla with a 400hp 302 windsor V8, full manual C9 auto and 4.11 bw diff. Has run a best of 11.7 et.
