It has been a long time since my cars have been seen at the summernats or in the car mags.

The last time I went to the summernats was back in 1990! The brutehorsepower 4 video (Before DVD's) has some ok footage of the HK in the burnout comp.

Yeah I've got a good memory for tough cars from my youth. As I recall the HK was featured in PSC twice and Street Machine once. I suppose being young at the time cars would leave more of an impression on me than they do now

GassedupPlastic,
The HK had GTS guards, bonnet and front when I brought it back in 1984, the last time I drove it was nearly 3 years ago for my daughters year 12 graduation party at the Adelaide convention centre.

It currently runs the 327 that was in it when I brought it, I pulled the blown motor out to update it to a roller cam, Jesel belt drive and possibly a new set of heads. Will get around to it one day.

A lot of my mates have been getting their cars going again after many years of them sitting in the sheds, we were talking about making a 20th anniversary visit to the summernats next year. Will have to wait and see it it happens or not?

i like gts guards on gts's/...............
hows that rear wing looking on your prem????? lol

the worst tho is the hj-hz flutes on a eh or hr...........YUK.......

i guess i like original styling........ custom stuff has to be well thought out, and quite often looks unfinished.

each to their own.........

oh and crunch......ive been saving some stickers i found for your front guards.......ricer style!
i saw some neons you wouldve liked to!!
