Default Bore size and cubic inch

308 standard bore = 307.81 ci
308 +.010 = 309.32 ci
308 +.020 = 310.84 ci
308 +.030 = 312.37 ci
308 +.040 = 313.89 ci
308 +.060 = 316.96 ci
308 +.065 = 317.73 ci 5.206 litres

stroking a motor also increases the cubic capacity.

it's just the volume of eight cylinders

the radius squared X pi X the stroke X the number of cylinders

just remember that boring a motor increases the diameter of the bore, not the radius.
in your case, your bore is increased 65 thou total to 103.25 mm/ 4.065"

without knowing your exact stroke, i'll assume it's 3.25". that's about 327 cubes with a standard bore

so using a 030 overbore i reckon it'd be about 331.65 cubes.

that's assuming exactly 3.25 inch stroke. it should be near there

need to know if its bored 30 tho holden pistons or somthing else could be chev pistons 30 thou and 60 tho holden piston size measure ya bore or find out ,, what pistons it runns would be nice to know
30 tho chev pistons are bigger than holden ones

*edit by wabbit*
still waiting on specific details, but that statement isn't completely correct.
a lot of chevs share the 4.000" bore size with holdens, ford and chryslers, including the 350.

i do believe that some chevs have a 4.030" bore. 400 chev has 4.126"

more to come. watch this space
