Default Holden Throttle body - Removal and install

1) Remove the retaining bolts and the wingnut and remove the covers from the top of the engine.
2) disconnect the neg battery terminal
3) Disconnect the air intake hose from the throttle body.
4) Disconnect the engine ventilation hoses from the throttle body.
5) Disconnect the charcoal canister hoses from the throttle body
6) Disconnect the wiring from the throttle body components
7) Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle linkage. If apply disconnect the cruise control cable and kickdown cable from the throttle body linkage
8) Remove the nuts retaining the t/b from the vehicle. Discard gasket.
9) Installation is a reversal of the removal procedure.

Attn to the following points:
1) ensure the gasket faces are clean and a new gasket is installed
2) tighten retaining nuts to the specified torque
3) ensure that the wiring is securely connected to the t/b components
4) Connect the throttle cable and if applicable, the cruise control and kickdown cables to the t/b linkage.
5) Check and if necessary, adjust the throttle cable and if applicable, the cruise control cable.
6) On auto models check and adjust the kickdown cables if need be.
7) Connect the air intake hose to the t/b and tighten clamp securely
8) Connect the charcoal canister and engine vent hoses to the t/b
