    Hay All I Have Brought A Vn 5l With Engine Number Prefix Vu Will This Have A9l Rods In It As Want To Use Them In Stroker Motor.

    Should have, they will have a spike on the side of the rod, starting at the big end pointing up.

    Yes, all the fuel injected holden 5L motors come with A9L rods.

    330 or 355? What pistons are you planning on running?

    355, I was going to run acl but i found out today they are shut down and gone bankrupt. so any suggestions on pistons rings and bearing kit to suit would be helpful going to run a come crank

    Yeah it is a shame. I must've got one of the last sets of high comp, ACL stroker piston sets. A beautifully fnished, strong looking piston.

    A brand new set of lower comp (9.0) ACL stroker pistons sold on eBay a couple of weeks back for $300 I think.
    5.7 HSV powered HQ... more or less.

    well now c.o.m.e are closing down so crank is now going to be a scat. lets hope they stay open.
