Ive got el fans on my tonner, ive wired up the davies craig thermo switch with a relay and its fused aswell.Ive wired it up so it only comes on with the ignition and turns off when you turn the engine off...That way it doesnt run on and flatten your battery..I cant remember how i wired it up but i think the davies craig website has a diagram.

I'd use a one relay for each fan myself. If a relay fails at least you won't lose both of them.

ok, i have the relays, wiring, fuses, i think i have it sorted!
1 more question... on the back of the adjustable switch there are 2 tabs, one for ignition wire, and one for the fans.. one has 'c' next to it, the other has nothing. which tab does what?

On my eb falcon i used 2 relays, one was for normal operation with the thermo switch and the other one was used for a seperate switch next to my shifter so i can turn it on when i need it or if the thermo switch fails. On the ford mods forum there is a full diagram on how to wire it all up thats what i used and it worked first shot.Im a wiring dummi but it was very simple,Good luck

I used one relay for the two fans and it seems to be fine but if you have two then use them...

With the wires going onto the switch, turn the switch right down so it will come on automatically and then plug the wires in..Check if the switch turns the fans off and on,if it does the wires are around the right way.. I could check mine for ya but its pissing down outside

k, switched the wires around... fans are working all good! either the fans arnt doing shit or my water pump has mysteriously shit its self. as my guage just hit red and coolant is pissing out everywhere.. there was a slight leak whare the temp reader wire goes through into the top radiatiorhose, would this have caused overheating?
