Default Can I run 20 degrees timing?

currently running a regraphed electronic dizzy which is set to 18 degrees. Runs fine, no pinging.

If I bump up the timing to 20 degrees and I get a noticeable difference in it will it be OK to leave it at 20 degrees or am I pushing it? I mean if it pings at 20 degrees then yes drop it down but if it doesn't is it fine to live it at that?

The dissy has been regraphed to suit crane 286 in a 308, 10:1 comp, running pulp, mild head work, quaddy extrcotrs, 3.55's 3000rpm converter.

allports, no idea about cranking speed, cam phasing. Temp reading is a little hard to get. It does sit slightly over the blue mark but in reality thats pretty cool. Hope this helps.
