this may be a stupid question to those guys who live and breath vn vp vr v8s etc but i am installing the new ecu loom into my lj and was wondering what the E.C.M lamp is (i know it is a little light buld but what does it mean) ??

Engine check light
checks for faults in the system You can use it to diagnose a fault (number of flashes )need to do the short out with the diagnostic plug In your lj if you dont want and extra light on the dash maybe you can wire up a globe an use the park brake light position ? oh!? cool but what do people usaly wire it to in vintage conversions as i dont have a provision for this and didnt want an ugly after market globe hanging any where any ideas would be much appriciated>

change of plans since i have converted over to a remote booster i will use the obsilete brake light which usally is fed of the proportioning valve.
