Default Marks workshop (W.A) supercharker kits for 5.0L

Anyone got or familiar with one of these?

Marks Workshop

Im going down there on Saturday to speak to the dude for more info, but would also like to hear your opinions & some feedback if anyone has any.

This kit looks good, but the downside is they will not sell you the kit on its own, you have to get them to fit it. At $9000, drive in drive out for the stage 1 kit, that does seem a little steep but Im not sure exactly what you get for your 9k, will know more soon. Any info guys?

I have one. Converted it to air to water.
I fiitted it myself.
Mark is very reluctant to let others fit as there has been some really rough installations.

I have run it on a 5.0l and a (355) worked well.

MWS out of business? I can't see why that would happen. He does quality work.

My kit is for sale. Will post photos this weekend. It has better intake for 90mm throttle body, adjustable blower snout support, 30lb injectors, fuel pump.......etc

Mark was very happy with my installation and wanted to use it in Motorvation.......... I never found the time

Why am I selling? My next combination requires 12 psi and I am in the process of making a manifold, air to water intercooler, Harrop TVS blower.

After talking to him and seeing his shop, Id be very suprised if mws was going out of buisness. He seemed more focused on having happy customers at the end of the day rather than making money, and from what I saw he is smart and doing everything right by his customers, a recipe for any sucessfull buisness.

Personally, I decided against going ahead with the s/c idea though, purely because I already have a near complete 355 motor on the go. If I was going to sell it and supercharge the 304 on the other hand, I would definately use MWS.

People don't go out of business just because they're shit. Maybe last time you had to renew your lease it was twice as much, or maybe you got sued. Heaps of things can cause you to go under.

MSW is top notch, I've never heard a bad thing about him. They're highly reccomended in Perth Street car also.

Sounds like more rumour mongoring , The truth is mark had a accident in a high hp car he was testing , insurance paid out and car is undergoing a full rebuild bigger and better.

I have been there every fri tuning all his blown combo's and there has been no problem getting vehicles inspected and licenced. I am still booked up there months in advance so they are not going out of business

mark is not a "pit officer " they are all independantly inspected by the RTA as they always have been.

good to hear he's still gonna be in business. As others have said he has a very good rep for quality and knowledge. and i wouldnt blame him on only wanting to fit themselves to ensure the quality is there though.

The only gripe i have is i called up to talk to them about ideas for a blown set up - as in what my options were, what the best set ups would be, and the lady on the phone wouldnt let me talk to anyone unless it was one of their kits and i was buying one...

you need to remember he is very busy , and not a self help service , being from another state he would not be able to fo anything for you unless you shipped the car to him as he only does custom installs.

if you ring on a fri you will never be able to talk as I am there tuning and every minute he wastes costs him money having me there so he is not contactabel on any fri.

Delco, Do you have a kit installed on your SSV, and has it been in Perth Street Car?
