Default Me heater dont work !!!

WB5LTR , the owner complained to me that that the heater dont work , after spending an hour checking the hosing , valves and heater cables for correct operation , every thing seemed to be doing as it should , but still no heat ! So I pulls the fan off , and found this rather strange piping arrangement inside the heater box !!!!!!! He paid $10,000 plus for this !!!!! Guarenteed to never have a core leak ay !!!
Question is , whats the easiest way to pull out the core and fit a new one ?

Sadly easy doesn't figure into it much, you have to pull it out from under the dash. The best way is to simply jump in feet first and remove the left side dash including glove box, doesn't take long to remove the lot (just a few screws) and quicker than going around in circles trying to bend your arms three ways working around it. You'll need a helper on the other side for reassembly at least to get the nuts and bolts to line up. At least there won't be any water to drip into the interior!

ha ha nioice one 400, yes its a prick of a job, rocker cover off, pull glove box out undo nuts in engine bay, pull cover off, hold other side in cab from falling out, usually prop it up with a length of something, replace core or whatever, scream and curse while you try and get cover back on do up nuts hook up hoses, have a beer

Would anybody know if the heater core out of the HZ stato will interchange with a standard non-aircondition HZ job , something tells me they are different , just looking at where the hoses exit . ???

I think they are the same, because most people who fit the factory air con get it from a Statey...?
