Default Royal purple synthetic oil

Does anyone know of this oil and has anyone used it??

Apparently its expensive but probably the best oil to use. What are your thoughts if you have used it?

Is this worth getting and using on performance motor?

EDIT: IF you can be bothered watch this 5 minute documentary. Its pretty neat.

Rp is great but it does cost and you never run your engine in on any synthetic oil

All synthetics come from someones Base Crude MINERAL OIL
Just some are better than others
Bahrainy/Saudi crude is the best and australian crude is far better than American Crude
Dont worry you yankee oil lovers ,99% of your yankee oil comes from Australia, its only the additive package that differs.

400, i have a quick question for u, this is not a dig at ur reply by any means, i genuinely dont know and would appreciate it if u would explain how the oil companies do it, synthetic oil is supposed to be completely manmade (hence the term synthetic) as far as i know, how is synthetic oil made from mineral oil? please correct me if im misguided.

They extract the polymear out of the crude to make synth. So brock lied on that add about not coming from the ground and just not pure........
Dont get me wrong I love Brockie.

True synthetic crude would be sweet, get it into the refineries and we'll get some CHEAP BLOODY FUEL.

Bring on E85, making peoples eyes water at the lights will be fun.

Ester refers to oil, or VEGE-TABLE Base, which 2 strokes love,
WAste of money , good but not worth the money in our odl pushrodders.
Clashes badly with mineral based Synthetics
