yeah ive had this on a f100 aswell, all you can do is tighten and loosen them until they eventually come loose.
bit of rp7 might help

Yep, just keep trying to undo them, they will probably break the ceramic bit but theres really not too much u can do if theyve been put in too tight. Maybe try some penetrene?

Honestly, ive never heard of that happening. It is definitely possible but highly unlikely. It sounds like whoever put the plugs in did it too tight and needs a kick in the bum. Anyway, back to the point, if u do end up with a broken off plug leaving only the threaded part still in there, there will be an extractor of some sort to get it out, not a disaster, just a pain in the arse. Can u post up a pic of what u have done so far? Can u apply leverage to whatever u have been using to undo them?

I've seen broken off plugs before in a Renault Clio. Same thing there: some idiot pulled them too tight. In the end, they broke off. What the guy did was get a left handed thread, which screwed intself into the broken bit of plug, then with that by turning it left you bring out the broken plug, but at the same time the left handed thread still keeps on going into the plug. Hope i explained myslf clear enough....

GOOD NEWS. the ###### last sparkplug is out . what i did !!!. i seperated him from his friends and explained to him/her ( im sure it was a her cos she wasnt,nt listening to me ) that i would have to use forceful force on her and it might get a bit nasty an someone might get hurt. well after a bit a lube an a bitta yelling ... ITS OUT took a bit of violance with the plug spanner an a bit of slipping with the rachet but i got it out THANKYOU to all those that helped with the insperation to not let it get the better of me and thanks for the TIPS

gotta find humour in problems oitherwise you end up smashing things i reckon

Default To you ALL

Ratchets are for undoing nuts / bolts once the have been broken (as in the super tight bit of the undoing is over) never for breaking (again, not literally breaking...) bolts, using a ratchet as a breaker bar will give you a broken ratchet very quickly.

FYI for putting spark plugs in, they have a thin compressible metal washer around them so basically screw them in with your fingger until they bite (this is the metal washer contacting the head) then 1/2 to 3/4's of a turn more is usually plenty
