Hi all,

Looking at purchasing an imported 302 long motor from Eagle Auto Parts in Melbourne for my Mustang.

The service so far has been very good, in terms of information and no pressure selling tactics, but what I want to know is how these guys products stack up in terms of quality.

To give you all a full breakdown, the price provided is as follows:

Rebuilt 302 Long Motor - 12 months/20,000km warranty.
New timing over installed
New Sump installed
Motor painted
Supply of new electronic dizzy (not sure of the brand)

Total price $3,000

All comments and feedback appreciated.

considering the engine is long, it would be covered by a limited warranty, what is the fine print in regards to this.

You'd want to know whether the pistons and rings were replaced. If they ain't? It aint rebuilt. It's just been honed (quick clean up).
