How many of you fast guys have ever run a toploader down the 1/4 mile.

I don't know about fast guys but my old XY was running a Toploader and 9" with 4.11's, Lots of fun down the 1/4, hold on we're going for a ride.

I'm pretty sure Marty White with his twin turbo 800+ hp small block Mustang still runs a top loader and last time I saw it run down the quarter it wheel spun the whole length

hey 1badass what times did your xy pull and did it have 14 inch wheels or 15son it.

Marty Whites stang is a weapon, i seen it about 8 months ago & when it launched off the line it shot the wheel cap off in to the crowd.

I've seen him at Willowbank raceway coming into the last corner sideways then smoke the rears the whole length of the straight. AWSOME

The best I ran was 13.1 @ 109mph, the new owner has ran 12.8 @ 112mph in the old girl. Both runs are with 15" rims.
