Default gday im new here! MY XA 460

gday everyone!

1st post here so thought id tell you about my little project.

Im rebuilding my XA Falcon (Futura).... again.
1st build wasnt too drastic, respray, new motor (250 6cyl) etc... was in Nov 04 street machine readers rides so some people may of seen it.

about 3yrs ago i took the car down to the nats and came home and stripped it back again to fix a few little things...3yrs on we still a shell but after nomourus people screwing me over, i ended up doin all the repairs myself etc and finally we not too far away from paint, couple of rust repairs to do in the doors and then final prep.
ive posted some pics to show we currently hanging panels to check gaps etc.

engine is currently being built. is getting fully balanced, .30tho over speed pro flat top pistons, cobra jet rods, ARP bolts for mains, rods, heads, clevite 77 bearings, mellings oil pump, high energy sump, pro comp ignition, roller rockers with guide plates, comp cam, rollmaster timing chain, weiand stealth inlet manifold, mighty demon 750 carb, tri y headers with 2in primarys and 3in collectors into dual 3in exhaust with hooker aero chamber mufflers and x pipe.

Behind that will be running a Tremec TKO 600 5speed manual and then finally to a 9in with around 3:25 gears

during the 1st build i had all new pedders suspension and nolathane bushed fitted and car will retain the fully polished B45 simmons, they are 16x8 with 50/50 offset... will keep them for a while but like to put something little bigger later down the track.

here are some pics i thought you might like

will post more pics when motor is finished and more things happen. cheers
Dave

Yeah, I learnt to drive with a 460 under the bonnet, it's a good feeling.
