I have brought PeterD's 396 Monaro across to WA.
Having a few issues with the licencing mob.
Can anyone advise if the oil catch can and the Brake bias adjuster (under the car) are illigal in WA.

Also interested to understand who has used a good person / Agent to assist through the licencing process.
An agent was documented on the request to modify a vehicle sheet.

ITEM: I am after a few bits and pieces to suit a factory dark green VR 5.0 5 speed sedan with live axle, parts must be in good useable condition, body panels must have decent paint, no damage or big scratches etc ( Must present well but don't have to be perfect )

1. Rear bumper bar
2. Bootlid ( Must have no wing and no wing holes )
3. Rear coil springs, stock height or King lows but no lower, must be able to pass a roadworthy so needless to say not chopped either

Arrow ax8 28/30 I bought it a year ago and have hardly used it due to work and other commitments.
It has a yamaha kt100s which i had fully rebuilt a couple of months ago along with the carby.
The engine has not even seen 5hrs use since its rebuild so its pretty much still brand new.
The kart will come with the following: racing suit and boots, kart stand and a couple sets of practice tires.
Asking for $2,300 or will swap for a road bike with rego.

Well it’s on again in 2013 and ALLSTARS will be organising the cars for the Saturday. This year XFORCE exhaust has jumped on board to sponsor the event and help out the ALLSTARS with a full exhaust system for their wide body Holden Maloo ute.

You can expect more craziness like a bagged Toyota Aurion, parked behind an Integra and then on to numerous hot rods and a Trans Am. It’s rare to see all so many different car cultures unite and park side by side to be appreciated.

The names dan (call me wardy) 27 yo from the tweed heads area, been into cars forever, I'm a 4th generation mechanic. Been into performance builds the last 12 years mainly turbod fours and rotaries. With many engine builds under my belt, but I'm about to embark on my first serious v8 build. Just a nice simple 383ci blow through turbo setup, powerglide etc

Now what I'm wanting to know is the process/legalities of putting a sbc into a hk-ht sedan, as this is the car I'd love to build.

As far as I'm aware (from previous builds) if a variant of your car came with the type of engine you intend to use its as simple as an engine number change, is that correct?
From my research I've found the hk was not fitted with a 350 from factory, but the hg and ht was, so these would be my choice. Obviously brakes/safety is a priority and will be upgraded.
I realise the turbo side of it will be an issue, but I plan to run it na first then get the turbo passed in due time.

Are they a direct bolt in for these cars, and where would i find the mounts? I'll prob end up getting an auto 6cyl model for the project.

I'll be sure to start a build thread in the next month or so when I find a clean starting point, and no doubt there will be plenty of questions so bare with me :)

I have my twin thermos coming on at 140*F just for good measure.

What sort of figures should i have and how long before they will settle to normal....say 180ish
