Exclamation Help!! Ve valiant wiring short!!!

Hey

I accidently shorted my val when i was replacing wiring for the head unit. (dont know much about wiring)

What do i need to fix, the motor isnt turning over.

check your fuses, you will probably find one of them is cactus

yeah i did i ran the voltage meter thing on each of them they all lit up

what else could it be.

and did you get voltage on both sides of the fuses?

hey there

yeah all the electrical eg lights and such arent working

and no i only ran one side of the fuses, ill run the other side when i get some free time

Are you getting 2 sources of power from the back of the head unit where it first shorted? You should get constant 12V on 1 plus ACC on the other. Colours are usually yellow (constant), Red (ACC). Like wabbit said, check both sides of the fuse as 1 sides the feed side. If your getting power to the back of the deck, pull the fuse you think is for the deck, should also control cig ligter etc... IF you still get power on the 2 power pins behind the deck it's be rewired, and hopefully fuses elswhere.
