The white colour on my raised lettering on my Torana ashtray has basically been worn off. What is the best way to redo the white Torana letters? I know I could just handpaint them white but I am thinking this will look rubbish due to the lines not being straight, etc. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

How Ive done raised letters before was to spray the letters first with 2 pack white, yep paint the whole front.
Let dry for about 4 days then, use motospray satin black and spray over the whole lot 2 coats black, let dry about 15 min, then put a clean soft rag over your page finger ( if youve got one) dip your finger in laquer thinners and carfully wipe over the letters, the back wash's off easy but the 2 pak white underneath doesnt, do this a couple of times and the letters will come up like holden did it. |
