Default Ashtray lettering

The white colour on my raised lettering on my Torana ashtray has basically been worn off. What is the best way to redo the white Torana letters? I know I could just handpaint them white but I am thinking this will look rubbish due to the lines not being straight, etc. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

I did the SS on my Torana ash tray by hand - if I recall correctly, the best way is to paint the red (or white in your case) first, then the black around it as it is easier to get a sharper line that way.

How Ive done raised letters before was to spray the letters first with 2 pack white, yep paint the whole front.

Let dry for about 4 days then, use motospray satin black and spray over the whole lot 2 coats black, let dry about 15 min, then put a clean soft rag over your page finger ( if youve got one) dip your finger in laquer thinners and carfully wipe over the letters, the back wash's off easy but the 2 pak white underneath doesnt, do this a couple of times and the letters will come up like holden did it.
