Fibreglass Scoop install tips - Aussie V8 | Holden - Ford

I am about to install a fibreglass A9X scoop onto my Torana. Does anyone have any tips or hints to help me do a good job?

Spend ages lining it up lol. Then drill your holes.

measure twice and then check it by eye.

then do it again

are you cutting out a hole in the bonnet? if so id say try measureing it an lineing it up about 4 or 5 times just in case it doesnt look right................. as for just bolting it ...... look for your main stress points to your bonnet because you dont want to weaken your bonnet/hood ........ im saying this because i had a old hj with a hornet scoop an my mate saids that if u cut threw the main structuire it tends to weaken the support in the middle of the bonnet
