Default Primer?

Guys,
I bought an aerosol touchup for my ute the other day, its acrylic, i want to spray my engine cover (plastic) and also need to spray a bit of tin.

Just wondering what type of primer i need..
i looked through ebay, vht.. there is etch, 2k.. i have no idea of what i need?

any help would be appreciated.

Acylic primer..or Primer/Surfacer

where you got the touchup from... should be able to help

if it's just for the engine cover just rub it back with 600 wet and dry and hit it with a light coat. they dont flex enough to warrant flex additive and also shouldn't need a primer.

yeah i need primer, otherwise it goes all shitty.
thanks guys, i bought some acrylic primer, did the job well, i actually did a bit more things than i thought, so ran out of spray, gunna go get another couple tomorrow me thinks.
