If your on a budget then you cant go past Response amps, speakers and subs. As fo a HU, I'd go for a name brand. Kenwood or pioneer will never let you down.

Unless your engine is breathing super-heated air, your money would be better spent on a V8 throttle.

now that's cheap!

a V8 throttle body will allow more air into the engine. the only time you would ever need to change the intake plumbing would be if it's way too restrictive. Personally I like straight-through intakes, where the pipe goes straight from bumper to throttlebody in a straight line. Keeps your air cool too.

As for the badges, a set of the new Holden badges (chrome) would be a nice touch

my brother's got a suzuki swift, he got a DR1FT pod filter (1,300,000km warranty, cleanable), we just did a backyard job, there was a space on the front grille beside the radiator, so we stuffed a piece of aggae pipe in going from there to the air filter goes better for it (both the air filter and the cai helped). if it could help a 3cyl then it will help a V8 a lot

You do know that 99% of VN to VR V6's have a restrictor plate inserted that kind of negates fitting any increase in throttle body. This plate can be removed but I have been told that they are prone to stalling the engine when the throttle is released suddenly.

Yeah mines a S2, I don't think I'll take it off tho, I'll just leave the V8 throttlebody off then.

But if they are prone to stalling, I don't want that to happen to my car lol
