guys im having problems with the dash lights the blinker lights works meaning they light up highbeam lights up everything but the background light when u turn on your headlights isnt working no problems with the fuses can ne one help please chaddlez@hotmail.com

i know this sounds stupid but there is a dial that makes the dash lights brighter or dull to the left of the headlight switch.

There should be a separate (tiny) 3A fuse for the instrument panel but I'm pretty sure other things wouldn't be working if that had blown. The back lights are always the first to go too (and I guess they are not legally required), I guess there's a slim chance they have all blown.

nah the dimmer switch has been checked everything works the head lights blinkers hazards just not the main light might have to goto an electrician thanks any way guys

behind the dash cluster there is a little plug that if comes off the background lights stop working it happened to my vb..its on the back on the left hand side its just a single plug and it says illumination on the white bit of the cluster..
