do you have an after market headunit?
do you have an amplifier for the sub?

why do i ask these 2 questions. because to put a sub into your car, your going to need both of these.

to place the sub into your car, you need to run rca's from the h/u to the amp and then wire the sub into the amp. you will also need to power the amplifier.

here is it simply, run a power cable of recomended size through the car. ive got a run of 4 gauge through my car. make sure you fuse this within 30cm of the battery, you do this not to protect that amps but to protect the cabling.

you then need to earth the amp, run the wire to a part of the metal on the car body, one of the easiest places for this it to attach it to the metal behind the back seat.

then you need to locate the trigger/remote wire on the h/u. this will be the blue wire with a white trace on it. then run a length of cable from the trigger wire down to the amp.

then simply wire the sub into the amp.

you will also need to run a set of rca leads down from the headunit to the amp, which i didnt include in the diagram. but that is simple enough to do.
