Default B&M Pro Ratchet Shifter and Manual Valve body

Hello everyone I have 2 questions,

1. B&M Pro Ratchet shifters, where is a place that I can get one cheap? I am in brisbane and the best I have found is $330 posted to me. (Autobarn want $399), does that price sound good? Also is it worth getting the shielded cover for the cable?

2. Manual Valve bodies forward or reverse pattern which does everyone think is the best and why?.

My gearbox is a modified Turbo 350 but I want to give it a freshen up before it goes in with a manual valve body, new seals plus whatever else is recommended.

Thank you.

go with reverse pattern as to much work with the pro ratchet to shift into 1st from park if your goin for manual valve body, reverse pattern is a must from what i have been told.. Have you considered a pro stick shifter, changed from the pro ratchet as it is so much more streetable but still has all the features of a ratchet, There is still reverse lock out, but its sort of a pistol grip shifter and thats how it ensures you dont miss a gear, takes a bit longer to get used to...

You have reverse pattern so in drags you are shifting away from neutral and reverse.
