Default TH400 kickdown switch

Hi guys i want to put a kickdown switch on my th400 i have a wreck out the back that has a switch for the tri-matic on the accelerator pedal, will the tri switch work on the th400 and if so how on earth do i wire it up? If anyone has wiring diagrams for it that would be sweet

I'm pretty sure it's the same, all you have to do is supply 12V to the trans solenoid through the switch (i.e. so the solenoid only gets power when the pedal is down).

When the switch is activated does it get constant power or just a pulse to kick down?
