Default Wheel Repairs

Hi,

I bought a second hand pair of 16" B45 Simmons Wheels recently & two of them have a slight buckle in the outside rim section which I'm going to get repaired, I didn't want to send them down south so I tried this mob up the sunny coast http://www.mww.com.au/cms/home.html old mate said that they'll be ready to do Simmons wheels in the new year - mid January.

They're going to have in-house powder coating facilities & will able to polish rims as well. bring it on!

So for those of us rolling on Simmons wheels it seems we have another option instead of sending wheels down south.

Cheers.

Wabbit,

No mate not yet, They've got 20 rims they are going to do R & D on between now & the new year, or in his own words they are going to beat the crap out of them & try & break them, I suggested he give a set to a P plater with a v6 commodore for testing

I'll let you know when I get mine done, I'm going to have two rims repaired, four rims re-polished & I'm undecided on whether I'll keep the centres powder coated or have them polished.

I paid $600.00 for these rims last week 16 x 8" & 16" x 7" end they came with 245/50/16 tyres on the rear & I needed to replace the front tyres, so even if it costs me another $1000.00 I'll still be in front.

Simmons wanted $640.00 per rim new.
