Cam's HQ GTS COUPE
Hi All,
Here is my new toy. Have had it for about 2 months now. I still have my other gts coupe resto in the shed. It was starting to cause dramas, me being out in the shed with having a young family. I will be selling the resto coupe down the track as i don't have the spare time like i used too.
So the wife told me to get one that i would be happy with to jump in and drive, not work on it all the time.
Was searching for quite some time before i found this one. It was for sale for a while before the owner was prepared to lower his asking price.
Have got plans to do a few things to the coupe, but will have to be quick to get some of the bigger jobs done as have another baby due in september.
Cyan blue with white stripes
strong 350 chev
turbo 350 box 3000 stall
braced 9 inch 4.11 gears
has been set up for 1/4 mile

Great looking car, are you running a 255 tyre on the back ?
Do you plan to race it or just great to have a tuff cruiiser ?TRIKHQ

Thanks for the comments guys, yes there will be more pics coming.
I picked it up in adelaide.
Mario, yes they are 255's on the back they look bigger though.
Plan is or was for a tuff streeter that i can chuck the family in and go for a cruise. But after jacking it up and looking underneath and spotting the 90/10s,braced diff i thought to myself i will have to take it down the 1/4. The previous owner didn't know a lot about the finer details of the car, he just drove it although he did get the engine built. Haven't been down the 1/4 since i was 18 so will be all new for me!!! Should be good times ahead!

My plan was to just jump in and drive the coupe but i hated the engine bay with the stainless firewall. Most people would of thought it was alright. So i decided to strip it down and put the orignal heater box back in. I like the look of the orignal firewall but with all holes welded up.
Well the coupe is stripped down. I forgot to take a pic of the engine bay before i pulled it down so the 1st pic is basically the pic i have of it together.
Does anyone know what sort of roller rockers they are in the 3rd pic?
