Im another youngin 17, looks mint. Love the 4 link setup. You do know the V8s came out with Salisbury........you really only need to upgrade to a 9inch if you chasing some decent HP

Was your 4 link a kit or did you design it yourself?
Reason I'm asking is because your shockies are pretty tall and I thought it was weird you don't have a panhard rod (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panhard_rod#_) and your 4 link bars don't share brackets (http://www.raceglides.com.au/files/f...erbar-tips.pdf).
I'm in no way an expert or trying to prove anything. I'm just really curious to your set up as I haven't seen it before and I'm curious as to how well it's going to function compared to the kits offered by company's like McDonald Bros.
I like the idea of your tray. Got some nice tubs there to hide all that rubber :P
What are you going to do to clear the top of the shocks?

Nice project
I'm curious how a 15yr old can afford to do this? You still in school?

I agree with you big time.
I had the choice of putting my new 3.08 gear h/duty LSD Salisbury in my 4 link. I ended up sourcing a 9inch purely because of the stuff you can get for them. (plus with a 700hp motor I would destroy the Salisbury eventually and didn't want to do the 4 link twice).
With this guys build though. It may be 5 years until the ute sees a v8 and the ute already had a Salisbury so he's saving some money for now.

Thats true, i have a banjo in mine atm and when i upgrade i will put a 9 inch in, he already has a 10bolt and the ratios should be fine As long as its not going to be an absolute powerhouse just have to weigh up the cost of 9inch and the benefits it provides. A 9 inch conversion is pretty pricey (well for my standards it is).
Also whats the reason you went for your own 4 link design over a kit, Was it cheaper or better engineered?

the reason i went for my own 4 link design is because i wanted to use the original brackets from where the leaf was

Definately going to degree it with the cam card so it ends up +2. Which may well be straight up on zero. Haven't got the card handy just now.
Cam advance or retard?
