only just found this site yesterday and its a pretty cool forum, lots of help from people on here.

How do you stop it all from rusting (the steering components)? Being made of cast iron wouldn't they just rust up - or did u clear them?

Sorry mate forgot to mention that,and your right they will rust so I tried to clear them but it won't stick due to the polish so I took them to a company in Brisbane and they put a clear powdered coating on the parts and when dried it becomes a thin film that protects the
Metal from moisture and it's been on there for 3 months now and still looks perfect.

catch cans fitted.


switch panel made as it will be sitting in the centre console so that way i have no switches on the dash.

rear disc brakes fitted to 9inch.

fuel system done.

diff finished 3.7 gears full spool,31 spline axels.

dash made.

new wheels fitted and can now be driven in and out of garage.

engine bay finished.



getting there but long process in seeing the finish line.

Have to be one of the neatest tunna`s i have seen in a long time good work mate!

Nice paint, what have you done with the inner guards? Is it on air bags is that why you have chopped them out?

No it's not on bags and I've cut 150ml out of them to help with getting the heat out of the engine bay quicker as I did this on my
last tonner and it helped a lot plus makes it easier getting to the back spark plugs.
