Nice start,will be watching this one.

What colour you got in mind?

Metallic orange of some description.....don't mind the Ford Electric Orange but dont think its quite what I want. Tangerine Pearl has taken my fancy somewhat though....

The new model Lancer has a nice orange metallic type colour old mate

Looking the goods it is always great to see another classic saved. Keep up the great work

I must look into that then. Was wondering today about the bucket seats in your LC, wonder if they are the same size etc as HT ones ? I have a feeling they are a bit smaller though.

Hey thanks, just remember a grinder will always fix a shitty weld

Nah mate, if it was me I'd be going a bit modern and putting VT type buckets in but get em recovered with no headrests. Anyway hopefully that old LC of mine will dissapear to Hobart soon .

Thanks TRIKHQ, I'm a Boilermaker by trade so some of that welding is actually a bit ordinary, a bigger MIG would be nice, haven't worked in the trade for 18 or so years though.

And Ross, wash your mouth out with soap.......it had VK buckets in it when I got it and couldn't rip em out and get em to the tip quick enough........no modern seats in my "T" old fella...
I reckon that LC will fall apart if your mate comes to get it, I could pop it in my paddock for the cows to scratch their arses on....

Ah.....I did mate, the base was just a part of the packing that a mates young blokes cheap ass chinese motorbike came in, leaf spring ones are pretty basic, I've done Torana and commodore before and they take a bit more thought.
