youve got the one thing im missing, space!

yeah got plenty of space except most of the shed leaks, so there is half a dozen tubes of silcone in the roof, i store all the stuff worth keeping in a little building that used to part of our house 15+ yrs ago, its in the first few pics befind the brown car, about the size of a reasonable bedroom, chockers, just enough to get in and out, and the chook pen filled with parts that are either not as important or rims, still covered thought, dads starting to crack down on my collection, he reckons there not my sheds and to make some room for his stuff, my sheds now lol, and i havent even started moving stuff to the other farm.... yet

so for a daily driver its not worth the extra 70 a rim for 2 piece, this is my first registerable vehicle, and i definatly wont be abusing it, ill buy a cheap commy for that

there never really was plans of such, it was more basic plans to get shape and then cut to fit, i built mine all at home and know a small fab job 5 mins down the road that let me use all his stuff, ie giluteen, digital folder/bender and i welded it myself, it was alot more try/cut/retry to get it exact, it takes 2 full sheets of 16gauge or 1.6mm or whatever you want with a bit left over, the 2 sheets join at the front of the box behind the cab on the fold mark, and the lids arnt quite identical becuase the folder( even though it was very expensive) couldnt make the centre hinge, ill send you a pm

dan1975 my dad and myself converted the diff to leaf, we made a jig to take a sals diff, and had mounts cut from a banjo to weld on with the jig, the new axles were $300 each, for steels, but during the qld floods the diff place couldnt get steels or something like that so he gave us chrome moly, which is apparently what they put in 9inchs, which were heaps more, so a commy v6 should be fine i reckon lol

didnt spend my 2 weeks at the panel beaters ended up going to sydney which sucks, so my ute is not painted, ive got school soon, moved my other hq over to our other farm into another shed for some more space, while dad welded up the engine mounts, had to make space but found heaps of dads old wb parts, all 202 stuff but.
welded up the hole were the blikers went, once the welder stoped playing up, with the portable welder(mig),Last edited by V6HQUTE; 24-04-2011 at 09:08 PM.
