Unhappy HK upper control arm pivot pins (shaft)

Hi there i am rebuilding my HK front crossmember and have found the threads on the pivot pins (shafts) are worn (loose when i screw the bushes on). I was wondering if any one knows where i could get some new or some good second hand ones. I have already tried American Autos and they said they can't get them any more, and suggested that I try a wrecker but would be lucky to find some that are any better than the ones i have.

So if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
fat69k (wayne)

Is the pins or the holes that are worn? They do screw in so maybe check they haven't just come loose. They're not meant to move and therefore should never wear out.

I have he pivot pins out and the bushes are loose on the thread of the pivot pins. The thread on the pivot pin doesn't look right (worn on one side of the thread profile if you know whet i mean)

Must have been dry. I know you can still buy the bushes. Might be worth finding a friendly pedders store that might let you try a new one. Otherwise an update to HT spec may be easier but I'm not sure whats involved
