Hidden Wiring In Engine Bay
Hi All
We've all seen and heard of immaculate engine bays with hidden wiring and the like.
Can those who have a special engine bay or those that have seen one share some pics or ideas as to how its done. I'm particularly interested in the HQ - HZ era
One trick I picked up from this site was from TrikHq, I think, where the wiper motor and fire wall wiring loom was run inside the plenum chamber under the wiper pivots.
Any input or pics appreciated.
Cheers
Roy

wat engine you running as 5ltrs with standard manifolds are easy, i ran all my injector looms tps iac all the shit up the guts of my 5ltr in my hg and plan to do the same to my tonner and its 355. computer, ignition module, coil, map sensor, everything in the bay that does have to be there goes under the dash. as for the headlight loom and horn you just run up under the inner guard, and same as trikhq for the wiper and wat not on the firewall, easy!!! haha

As above plus the blower motor wiring can run inside the blower housing from the inside of the firewall.

Thanks for the replies fella's.
Along the lines of tidying the engine bay, can someone explain to me what the two little outlets on the thermostat housing are for and what the two little outlets on the water pump housing are for?
I've seen pictures of hoses attached to these which I think go to the heater core. I think these hoses mess the engine bay up and would rather not put them in if I don't have to.
Thanks
Roy
