Default Help needed with 9 inch diff noise

I have finally got my project on the road and registered today. BUT , on the way home from the rego mob i started to get some fairly loud chatter and general noise from the diff. (9") (3.25 :1 ratio ).

This noise only happens when the diff has had a good 20 + minute run ?

The noise only happens on cornering tight or slight?

The noise cannot be heard at all when drinving the car straight?

This is the only part of my project that is not new as i bought this from a mate who i now cannot contact.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hmmm..could be the carriers loose in the centre, spiders are worn or broken if open centre, could be a very tightly shimmed lsd, or a completly flogged out lsd.
Need to get it out for an autopsy I reckon before it's completely riggered.

Does sound like the pre load is tight ,as gregaust said use the friction modifier as early oils used to have whale oil in them and you obviously cant by that any more.
