help with chrome strip around grill on LX torana - Aussie V8 | Holden - Ford

hi ive been rejuvenating the body on my LX SLR torana for the past couple of months, since i bought it the chrome strip around the grill has had a small dent around the top of the grill.ive tapped most of the dent out but ultimately id prefer to replace it if possible, so my question is can the chrome strip be removed or am i just better off looking for another grill?

I'm pretty sure they can be, but if you're looking to use one you've removed then you'll have to be extremely careful not to bend/dent it getting it off.
