Nothing wrong with a 2JZ mate ^^^^, have an open mind... Countless Supras outrunning Hyabusas can't be wrong..

if i was to build my car again it would be with a 2jz! I know a bloke making 795rwhp on a stock motor with a set of cams, big fuel system and a killer turbo!

thanks for the nice replies so far if anyone want more pics let me know

as ive made the custom engine/gearbox mounts
i used a vh k frame (i assume a vn v8 k frame is the same) as the vs v6 engine k frame left sod all room between the sump and frame

i also had to use(cut) the steering rack mounts off the vs k frame and weld them on to the vh k frame (as they of course were different)

cool project.

there was a guy at my tafe who had a Red VS ute with a single turbo 2jzgte in it. 2jz's are a brilliant motor with tons of potential.

I do have an open mind, ive bought sold and installed enough Turbos to appreciate them.

and ill take a 9lbs VNSS at 300 odd horses over a 23lb 505hp 1JZGTE any day....sure it went fast..... but the tear your arse out torque at 2000 RPM of a V8 is something else. Even with huffers, theres no substitute for cubic inches.

not sure. last i saw it was wrecked.
supposedly flying through an intersection one night and t-boned another car. i actually saw the ute at an insurance assessors by complete chance right after that accident. but never know, maybe it was repaired and went on. the car wasnt all that badly damaged.
