Looking at putting an Alloytec V6 engine into a datsun 1600 rally car, does any one know anything about the engine. What I was more concerned about was the weight, I assume being all alloy they would not be that much heavier than the old iron 4 cylinder job.
The fly by wire seems interesting, I assume I need to take the pedal assembly to get that to work. Any thoughts out there. |

I reckon you could just fit a "normal" throttle body and cable dealy..Youd be smart to go to an aftermarket computer, the alloytec is a "fixed" powerboard that doesnt take to traditional edit methods. Im not sure anyone even bothers tuning them with the factory computer.
Cant help you weight wise, sorry bout that... Sounds interesting though. |
