Default Kingswood body...

i am rebuilding a HJ 1 tonner and planning on putting a hz front and quarter panels on it....just wondering if the radiator support panel needs to be specifically HZ and if theres a difference between the V8 radiator panels and the v6 one.... sorry its such a basic q.

same front... if it has an HJ clip on it, otherwise (I am pretty sure) all tonners apart from WB here HQ fronts.
if it has an HJ clip, the HZ clip should bolt straight on, you will only need to swap the grille to have an HZ front. are you switching to twin lights? there shouold be no need for a swap otherwise.
all panels from HJ-WB are the same V8 or 6. including the radiator support.

When fitting non commercial panels to a Tonner you may find the scuttle panels in front of the windscreen is different and does not match your non commercial bonnet.
If your HJ has HQ style panels this will be the case.

Bog up the scuttle to match(very common), or fit a non comercial scuttle.

you can buy cowl panels from rares (need to be welded in) then add your HZ bits. check out the holdenpedia for more info HQ-WB Interchangeable parts - Holdenpaedia
cheers Leroy

Did the front you took off look like a HQ or HJ ?

If it looked HQ, scuttle needs to be modified
If it looked like HJ scuttle will be ok, HZ front should bolt straight up.
