Default Trans Temp Gauge

Does anyone run a transmission temp gauge. I have a B&M deep pan on my T400 and it has a thread in it so a sender unit can be used.
Just wondering if it's worth getting a gauge before I put any fluid in it.
What are peoples thoughts??

you should only need a temp gauge if your using a transbrake, In my mopar I run a temp gauge in the trans lines that tells me the temp coming out of the trans

Er mine has a trans temp gauge fitted and no trans brake. Im sure lots of cars run them without a brake. I run it because a drive it on the street alot and have a 5000 converter. Well worth the money i think.
