Default '68 XT 'GT' Ute

Thought I'd share some pics of my new toy. Its a 68 XT Ute with a healthy 351c, C4, 3000 stall and 3.00 spooled 9 inch.
Plans are to neaten up the enginge bay and interior and upgrade the inlet manifold and fuel system to get a bit more mumbo as well as a set of 4.11 diff gears.

As purchased

Now

The XY was sold off unfinished

I added up how much it was going to cost to finish it properly and I couldn't justify spending that much. My circumstances have changed from when I started the rebuild. The guy that bought it will finish it off the way it should be, but as a GT replica.

The sale of it funded the ute purchase and I still have a substantial amount of change to play with.
