9 inch centre mini spool to LSD - Aussie V8 | Holden - Ford

I'm working on a 9 inch conversion for my HQ and have found a diff with a 3.0 ratio mini spool and I'm wondering how hard it is to convert to 3.9 or 4.11 LSD, do I just need the LSD hat and the new gears or are there other parts needed?

I reckon your better off selling yours and put the bucks towards a rebuilt LSD centre

I haven't bought the diff yet, I'm just trying to work out what is involved in converting it to a different ratio and LSD and what parts I'll need....

I would leave the spooled centre complete and build a brand new lsd.A gear set will cost 250 to 350 try and get ford gears as they wont be noisey .And a lsd kit should be around the 500 buck mark.The spooled center will be much better for track work there no good on the street though hard on axles.
