i developed a piece of software like that at the start of the year, as part of my year 12 software development course.
obviously wasnt as crazy as that, but had the same theory, and was even for a pizza shop.
got the call, select the customer, gives the option of the regular order, or create a new one, and than choose the address from the database.
i think it turned out to be about 8 clicks, and you had the order sitting on the printer, 40 seconds after the phone call
