Im nearly ashamed to admit it but i actually dont mind TE cortinas as long as theres a crossflow 250 in em! Good vid though, has anyone worked out if its real or not yet? Id say not.

No, there's a "behind the scenes" video as well, which shows they used a crane to lift the car.

I'm sure the physics are the same for in this situation as it is for boats on water.
If you wanna lift/make something float it has to displace more air/water than the weight of the object. ie if a boat weighs 400kg and 1 ltr of water weighs (approx) 1 kg the boat has to push (displace) 400ltrs of water out the way before it will float.

I dunno how much weight reduction they did on that car, but air is alot lighter than water (meaning more has to be moved per kilo) so even at a quick guestimate there is nowhere near enough air being displaced, my guess is that that many baloons would only just start to make a person hover.
