Question 73 Charger Shell

Gday all. I went out on the weekend and got some photos of a Charger that we've had on the farm for ever. What I want to know is: How much is the thing worth, and does anyone want anything off of it?

The options on the tag are: E28, D12, T17, W11

There is no glass in the car, and as you can see it's pretty rusty etc... Just wondering what someone would pay for such a car. I've got a Torana or 2 to pay for

Cheers,

Tim

Hey Tim,
the old girl looks well past her prime but the crysler nuts are always looking for bits. Depending on how bad the rust is some of the panels might be worth a couple of bucks, and people are always looking for blocks for chargers. Can you post a better pic of the Grill and compilance plate and i'll give you more info on what it is

Hey Tim,
From the Numbers i can tell you it is A VJ Charger(thats the easy one)
Options are
E28 - 245 Hemi motor
D12 - 3 Speed floor shift Manual
T17 - 6.95 x 14 x 4 Tyres
W11 - Wheel covers
So not much of it is interesting and would be worth more as parts. If your an e-bay user chuck it on there as a whole or pull the bits off and flog them peice by piece some things will be sort after some not. If the grill is the right one and in good nick they have been pull good money lately as with The tail lights and bumpers.

Good luck

The grill is in reasonable nick but is a little bit broken...

I checked the numbers last night aswell and figured that it wasn't anything too interesting. Rather not deal with eBay, I just want to see it get used. If I keep it, it will just stay where it is and rust.

If anyone wants anything from this car, make me a reasonable offer and we will work from there. Like I said up the top, I'm a Holden man, so I've got no idea what these Vals are worth. Just don't want to see it go to waste!

The body doesnt appear too bad but if the underneath and chassis have rotted away from sitting on the ground without wheels it might be a bit harder to sell. Good luck.
