at best your going to get a 7" rim and a 235/60/14 tyre under the back, DONT put a big fat tyre on the front, anything you want to know about a Val like this ask me, you can check me out and contact me thru www.unorthodox-racing.com

I had 275 X 14 Posi's under my hardtop without minitubs. They were on 14 X 8 rims that I bought secondhand. I have no idea what the offset was on them.
the 275s rubbed occasionally, but nothing severe. and that was only with people in the back. probably only due to spring flex and weight. I reckon a set of 265s would have been right, but I'd hate to pay for 265X14 these days

mine was a VG
exactly the same body as the VF, as far as I'm aware. I also had VC and VE sedans that took 14X7s and 245 tyres with no issues

I can't compare my personal experience to your overwhelming argument to the contrary

the only way to fit a tyre that size on to one of those Vals is to move the springs inboard, its not a hard mod to do & I reckon they all need it done, perhaps someone had done it to your coupe?
for comfirmation join www.bigblockdart.com & ask those guys |
