A 360 and a 440 are very different jobs The 360 is a small block and you would be able to use a lot of the v8 valiant parts. The 440 is a big block and due to no BB in aussie vals there is nothing to use as donor parts making bits a bit harder to get. I know that a few people have put 318+360's in i will try to get more info.

Have fun

Chrysler X Chrysler had the 360

I doubt you would fit a big block in the engine bay without a heap of body mods.

small blocks have been done a number of times before, but the body still needed bracing.

A 440 or any RB block will not fit into a Centura without major front end modification. Even a short deck 383 B block is a very tight fit.

A 360 is a very easy fit and only requires strengthening the welds on the firewall, gusset welds.

If a 360 is not big enough a 4" stroker crank and 30" thou overbore will give you 408ci.

Talking Centura Crazy? Chew on THIS !

Well Mother Mopar always seems to have one more up her sleeve.
Copied from : http://www.mopartsracing.com/parts/blocks.html

440 SUPER COMMANDO CRATE ENGINE — 540 HORSEPOWER (EST.), 550 FT.-LBS. TORQUE (EST.)

Big block power and cubic inches in a small block package! Mopar’s new 440 Super Commando small block stroker crate engine gives you over 500 horsepower on pump gas, and offers the compact size of a small block.
Bare in mind those tests are based on crappy U.S. fuels .Our ULP is WAY better than standard stuff not to mention this engine on P.U.L.P
This was also built with to allow for N.O.S. turbos etc and will bolt right up to your 727.904.etc.
FAST,LEGAL,EASY n u can go round tellin ppl .."but its just a 318"
