would AU ford wheels fit a cm val, thanks

I think the stud pattern is the same, but the offset will be totally wrong. The AU wheels have about 25mm negative offset.

No you couldn't use them, offset is the measure of where the wheel bolts on side-to-side. Modern cars use wheels that bolt on at the outside of the wheel, whereas earlier cars are usually more centred and have a deeper dish. This means the AU wheels would sit further under the car and most likely rub on guards and possibly hit things like brakes and steering.

the AU onwards stud pattern was/is 114.3x5, where as the late VG-CM was 114x5 and all fords upto EL(i think). and yes the offset might not be correct either, you can get some adaptor hubs and then get the AU pattern rims. but they won't fit directly on

yes they are, but that is a away of doing it. there is a VJ Charger getting around here with some 17x8 inch Barbs with AU stud pattern & adapters

thanks for ur help I'll looke around 4 some older wheels then I'am in the middle of doing up my cm 4 my P's I tryen post up some pic's soon

just put charger type sports rims on your Val, the falcon wheels you mentioned will rub on the tie rods, trust me on this one
