Default CM Diff conversion.. I need Disks Rear..

hey guys, I have been informed that if putting a 440 into my Cm i need to put Disk Brakes on Rear End..

Whats the Best way to do this..
Get another Diff outta a ford or something.. ?

has anyone done a conversion and can point me in right direction..

pretty much, thats is one of the easiest ways to go. altho i'm not sure about HAVING to put a disc brake rear end in???
just make sure that if you do use a ford diff that it can handle the torque of the 440

like you wouldn't use a 9"?

if you want to keep the borg warber, you could always look at putting ford discs on. I'm pretty sure a set of XE or XF discs would bolt straight up with a bearing change.

I Am currently looking at a 9" set-up.. i Did condsider keeping the BW Diff But i reckon i will Destory it pretty Quick..

yeah thats a good idea, as much as it isn't keeping originality. a 9 inch is teh easiest way to get what you want, ie disc brakes and enough confidence that it won't break if its built right and you treat it nicely too
