Default Centura Freshen Up

Hey V8'rs thought i'd show you people what i been up to lately.
Well i finnaly decided to paint the centura, nothing extreme just a paint job and clean up as i go.

Ive had it bout 5 years now, First got it as a roller, no motor, box, interior nothing. From there got the 360 built, got a shift kitted 904 and got it in there. Went thorugh the procedure of getting it engineered and mod plated and got it registered.

Drove for a little bit, went to the drags a couple of times but the best i got was like a 12.8 spinning 1 wheel for ages. Then the motor ate itself

Ate a lifter and cam lobe so pulled it down and had a cracked bore and glazed one bank. After spending hard earned apprintice money gettin it back on the road wasnt goin to be quick.

So after...... well too long its back, motor got rebuilt a few oil mods and better cam choice, and i'm loving it. Regos paid and it home so what better time to paint it and make it look pretty.

The car

New motor goin in

Like it was meant to be

The colour is a custom blue, im a painter by trade so it's pretty much leftovers LOL but mainly, ford blueprint ,honda winning , and some new mazda and 380 colours that have new fancy pearls in them. Doint it all myself and im no panelbeater so she wont be dead straight but should look sweet when it done.

So year hope yas like, if i skipped or rushed throught this post,im sorry im on lunch LOL and i found pics.

Wiked its done, thanks to not much work on the boss let me do it during work. By the time i got home it was dark so fitted a few things up then took a few snaps but you really need to see it in the sun oh man. Think everyone will call me mr sparkle LOL.

I swear goes faster now its sleek LOL no dry paint holdin it back. As for Cam i ran a Crane cam 1st motor and it died so this build went for a Comp Cam. Grind is CRS XE268H-10 hydraulic and valves are fareera?(spelling) 2.02 inlet and 1.90 pretty sure.

Looking good oz, great colour choice.
I've never thought of that before, filling out a form to tell transport you've changed the colour of your car. Learn something new everyday
